As of last week Joel and me arrived here in sunny San Francisco and it couldn’t have been any more enjoyable. There were lots of little hiccups, we still get lost about 3 times for each new location we want to go to, but that’s all part of the plan we figured.
What I like most is the flair here. People are very open and everyone seems on the move just like we are. We are staying at a gorgeous apartment via AirBnb for two weeks and will then look for a more permanent place to stay.

Last week Joel and me had the fantastic opportunity to meet the people behind 3 amazing companies in London.
We had great chats, learned many lessons and thought about sharing them with you in a post and pics.
1# PeerIndex – More than just a score
Our day was off to a great start when we met up with @SimonCast in the PeerIndex’ offices in Old Street, London. Simon is the head of product at PeerIndex and discussed with us in which ways Buffer and PeerIndex might collaborate in the future.

The Buffer Guys in Spain [PICS]

As some of you might know we are currently residing in Javea, Spain for two weeks in order to do two things:
- Fully focus on Buffer.
- Have a great time in the sun.
The mantra we are embracing is very simple:
“We do what we love and do it where we love to be”
Joel has also reflected more thoroughly on this in his recent blog post, explaining how this can pay off with an increased efficiency and love of life overall.
So without further ado, here’s a glimpse of what we’re up to: working hard and resting hard in Javea.
