In the little, but intense time I have spent on Twitter, I found that it is a very positive and open-minded place to be. I wrote about this many times before. Yet, at the odd occasion it happened that I found myself in an unnecessary and very negative argument that didn’t help anyone. Someone I [...]
Twitter is the most awesome place to be I found. Yet, looking back to when I started out, there were lots of things I didn’t quite understand. Recently a few people approached me and asked a few questions, that for most of us are so normal that we wouldn’t even think about them. Yet, it [...]
This was very eye-opening. In yesterday’s post I reviewed a few great Twitter bios. The best part about the post was the discussion below and someone asked very bluntly: “These are some great people, but how do I start talking to them?” It struck me, because it is often easy to forget that starting out [...]

It is a little over 5 months now that we are fully involved on Twitter with our startups’ Twitter handle. Simply saying how valuable Twitter has been for us in the past is probably not enough to express how much it helped. So I thought it is a good time to share a few simple techniques [...]
In order to get Buffer off the ground, Twitter was one of the most important channels we used. And this was not only in terms of traffic. A lot of it came down meeting amazing new people and having insightful conversations with people I wouldn’t otherwise have reached. Another factor was to receive feedback and [...]
This is the very first piece in our new series that we call Tweet Café. Each week I will feature one interview with an influential Twitter personality. Questions will be about everything going on in and around Twitter and Social Media. Interviews will be either in print or skype video. Thankfully our very first guest [...]
I have to admit, there were a ton of different mistakes I made on Twitter in the past. And even though I try to watch out carefully, some still happen to me today. Let me share 5 of those with you that were rather painful, but can very easily be avoided.
